John moved to New Orleans in 2009 to provide quality management services for a 65 million dollar borrow supply contract for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It did not take long for him to fall in love with the city, and convince his fiancée, Lindsay, to join him in the Big Easy after their marriage in 2010.
While studying to receive his Bachelors Degree in Vocational Missions from Abilene Christian University, John bought and renovated a 4-plex, which ultimately stirred his passion for real estate. In 2012, he began overseeing a residential construction crew and has completed more than 20 properties throughout the city, many of which are Green Coast Enterprises projects. He began working as a real estate agent with Green Coast Realty in 2015, bringing a unique perspective to the real estate market.
He resides with his wife Lindsay and their Red Bone Coon Hound Annie in the Uptown neighborhood.
John assisted us with the purchase of two properties. He was professional in his mannerism, and did not appear to have a salesperson mentality which we appreciated. Not only is he knowledgeable about his field, but as a developer, he has first hand experience which was valuable for us. We have no reservations recommending his services to our friends and family.

My wife and I recently sold a house through Green Coast Realty and John was our agent. We had never been on that end of a real estate transaction before, and he made it *super*-easy for us. He communicated promptly and clearly; he helped us understand as much as we wanted to about the process; he got us a fair price for our house and had it sold within the timeframe we wanted. Clearly all of those successes were not purely under John’s control, but throughout the process I had confidence that we were getting excellent service from him, and at the end all that good service paid off. We’re very happy with Green Coast in general and John Hendrix in particular. We’ll use them again!
